Should schools allow cell phones is a question I have herd a lot in the past. I believe that they should. As long as there not being taken advantage of. Phones could really help some kids do things that they can not normally do. For example I can't spell for shit and I just ask my phone how do I spell this or that and just like that I get the answer. I could ask the people around me but they might not know. Also then I'm disrupting there learning/working. If the kid needs a little quick break from work which does happen from time to time they could do so. Like I said before as long as they are not taking advantage of this then I don't see no problem. One thing some might say is that it would disrupt there learning but chances are that if they are on there phones then they were already not thinking about there learning. If they were talking with a friend and then they did not have a phone all of a sudden, they would find a way to talk to them. Back in the day before cell phones were very popular they pass notes. Students would start doing that again. Also did they ban paper in classes because some people were using it to talk to others? No because its stupid. Lastly If a emergence happens and a student needs to call some one they can. If they forgot there home work or missed there bus they could just take out there cell phone and call there parents.
